hi, im was developing for postnuke a counter block which im translating for GeekLog. The block simply displays the number of visitors in the block.
The problem which i see is that the statistics module of GL increments the number of hits each time which you see a page, even if you are the same user. I think that this is a bug because the hits should display the number of visitors, not the number of pages vieweds. Is it any way of making this? I see that the counter is incremented on the footer but, why not add a new statistics entry which displays also the number of visitors simply incrementing this variable only when your ip changes?
